Not New, But Figured I'd Introduce Myself

Featured Replies

I've been a member for a little bit now.  Just stuck to the confines of the Kansas Area Threads.  Slowly ventured out, so I figured I'd properly introduce myself.

Live in Wichita, KS.  Fished as a kid with my dad.  Mostly from shore.  Cats, Largemouths, Crappie, Bream.  Stopped fishing for a long time.  Married, moved from my hometown in Upstate SC to Wichita KS.  About 3 years ago, I started shore fishing again.  Slowly grew from there, bought a kayak, LOVED IT, bought another one, sold the first one, then bought another one.  So that makes 2 that I own currently.  Mostly fish smaller State ran lakes.  Less than 150 acres.  Every now and again I'll venture out to a big reservior for some smallmouth action.  By no means a great fisherman, I have more skunk days than I do great days.  But, Its nice to get away and enjoy nature.

BR has a wealth of info.  I'm learning something new every day it seems like.  Whether it's expanding techniques I already utilize, or it's giving me tips and info on new techniques.

Nice to meet y'all.

Hey there stranger - glad you made it on this way.  I find the info and content on here more relevant to fishing, hence why I am more active here than on the other sites you and I frequent ;).
