witch ones are good i see the baby minus but there is a baby minus 1 too....i want these manns for cranking skinny water but i hear there baby minus 8 isnt as good as the baby minus .... so my main question is how good is just the baby minus or the baby minus 1 // are they bolth fish catchers .... also i seen a few that had different bills some where square and some where round ????? help

also what colors are best  :-/

I caught quite a few last year with a baby 1 minus in their firetiger color.  the square bill was good becuase I fished them is shallow water 2-4 ft. around a bunch of wood.  It's nice that they are not too expensive so you are not afraid to throw them in big tangles and messes.  The square lip bounces off the wood better.

I use Mann's a lot and I find Manns minnus one (green sparkles ,white belly,red spot)runs shallower than the baby (baby bass colour hot,hot,hot).So both great lures used on different water

I personally don't really like the baby minus 1 with the round lip, I prefer the baby minus 4 with the square lip, you can throw that thing anywhere and it will not hang up. I throw mine right in the middle of lilly pads and work it out monster fish catcher.  I don't like the minus 1 because the wobble is too wide and the rattle has too much of a metallic sound.

Last year I was fishing in a small, heavily pressured pond where there was lots of grass.  Fish had been biting pretty regularly on worms, chatter baits and spinner baits - I decided to try a Baby 1 minus and fished it like a Rat-l Trap (crash it into the weeds and then jerk it out) I started hitting bass on almost every cast.  I was using a grey/white color in very stained water.

In my personal opinion manns has the best crankbaits on the market. The ones I have most sucess with is the baby minus 1 and the minus 4 silver with a white belly.

I assume you jumped on the same deal that I did at Gander Mt.  Just an FYI, the Mann's Minus cranks on clearance were either -4 or -8.  Even if they didn't have a number, the salesperson told me that they were Mann's Cranks that came in bulk quantity and they we either -4 or -8.  He showed me a -1 and the lips were much smaller than those on clearance.

What colors do people like on the Minus-1?  I was thinking of getting a shiner (green back / white belly) and a crawfish color.  

ok thats what i was thinking but didnt know ... i must  have baught the minus 4s ....  they had the 8s there too but the bills where bigger .... thats ok ... you cant beat the price ... ;D and i needed cranks ..... lol...

I will throw in another vote for the Minus 1. I am huge fan of square billed cranks.
