Do yourself a favor, return it and get your money back.

X2 I got caught on it, but haven't caught a single fish on it

JUNK.....but I did pick one up and my buddy did as well.  He actually caught a fish on his.  Don't buy it

They work for me.

I bought two of them. I watched Billy and Bobby Murray catch fish after fish with the dancin eel. I got the one each of them was using as they used different colors.

I have never caught a fish on this lure. In all fairness, I do not throw it hardly at all.

they look good in the water, but when you reel them they twist, and run upside down. don't waste your money. ;)

Fish them slow with patience, I have caught some big bass on them.

i have one,it has isssues running true..

looks like a fish killer when its moving thru the water but i havent caught anything on it(to be fair ive only fished it maybe 1 hour in total)

Never caught a fish on it and I was glad when it became buried in a brush pile.

I use them to imitate tadpoles and they have worked well for me in a few small ponds I hit regularly.

I'm also in the majority...haven't caught a thing on mine.  Although I gotta say, mine runs true, and looks awesome in the water.  It should catch fish...

Now that I think about it, I might have caught a fish on one of these practicing for regionals on the Pasquotank river a few years ago.  Can't really remember, but I know I was throwing this lure (we were desperate).

This is a soft plastic lure and needs to be fished that way. The action is similar to the Eeliminator which is also a lure that is difficult to make run true but is worth the effort. I guess it is just a lure that people love to hate, but I have done well with it over the years.

I still have two of the original Dancin Eels. I don't think I've ever got anything on them.

They didn't work in 1983 and still don't.  I put mine next to the helicopter lures by Roland Martin. YUM = You Underestimate Marketing ;)

I have caught fish on them.  Stay with the larger lure variety instead of the baby dancin eel.  The hooks tend to get caught in my line a little too often for my taste.
