Just now realized there is a gun section on this site lol. Awesome! Any of you guys get your hands on one of these yet? I've been waiting 6 months for them to be released. I have the XDs .45.  It is a single stack 5 round stock 7 round with the extended mag.   Have not had any FTF or FTE even shooting cheaper rounds.    It does a low bore axis like a Glock and will pinch you between tthe thumb and forefinger if you have bigger hands. and do not take care to grip properly.  IMO it is another quality product from Springfield.

Yea my fiance's uncle has that exact one with the red optic sight in front. Shoots great! I put a box of Remington through it a few months ago. I know the xdm is a beast. Just want to get some opinions before I drop 775 on the 2 tone.

A buddy of mine just picked up the XDs. So far so good. He found one in stock. Last time I checked it was a 6 month wait at all the gun shops around here.

Yea. Last time I was at Cabelas the guy told me the Springfield Armory handguns have been on backorder for over 8 months. They get in "surprise" packages meaning they have no idea what they're getting sent in. Little strange if you ask me.

 

Anyway, if our great state of IL (sarcasm) sets some laws and gets this CCW going, this was my gun of choice. I originally wanted the full length all black XDM .45 but if I'm going to buy a handgun might as well be something for CC. My brother has the XDM .45 in Bitone and it's a sweet gun. 

Here in PA we continually get shipments of XD's in all sizes and calibers. I've seen three XDS in our store in the last two weeks.

 

Just picked up the M&P 45c used (not a shot through it) for $400. It's a nice gun.

I've got an XD .40 which has performed flawlessly. Although, not my favorite handgun, I would certainly entertain the XDS 

We had three XDs in the store this morning for the new Gander ad. They lasted about 20 minutes.

Went to Hoffman yesterday asked them if they had them they said yes my heart started pumping!!! Then he comes back over and said 9 or 40 I said 45!!!! He said sorry at least 4 months if you pay for one in full now. I wanted to cry lol
