Catching The Same Bass Four Times This Week, roughly The Same Area.

Featured Replies

I have caught the same bass three times this week while shore fishing (21") in roughly the same spot on various types of rubber worms. My buddy has caught it once. We can tell its the same bass because its missing apart of its lower fin and has a bloody sore spot where its missing. Anyone else ever experienced such a streak? were wondering how long this streak is going to continue.lol

I have also caught a bass 4 times, but in a row. It was on a crankbait to. It was a male defending a bed.

I take a picture of every decent bass I catch with my cell phone, just to show my grandfather when I see him. It makes him happy.... While showing him a few pics last week, I realized I had like 8 pictures of the exact same bass with part of its top fin missing... It's pretty crazy. This is a 5 acre (or so) pond mind you.

This has happened to me numerous times in a few of my spots. I take pics off all my decent size fish as well.

I'm like 90-95% certain I caught the same fish twice this past april.  About a week apart, same lure, same spot on a relatively small pond.

I caught the same bass off the same spot twice in the same day off the same bait. It was just a little 14 incher but he had a very crooked back and he ate my bitsy bug jig off a stump once in the morning and then again in the afternoon. It was middle of summer and the water was very warm so I know he wasn't spawning, just dumb and hungry I guess.

I've seen a pickerel caught so many time he had slots I his lower lip. He's one scrappy little fish. I hate to catch the same fish over and over on lures. If it was on live minnows I would put a live minnow in his mouth and send him on his way.

The biggest reported bass caught in a tournament on Pickwick this year weighed in at 11.98 lbs.

On Friday the bass was caught while pre-fishing. The next day the same fish was caught on nearly

the same spot outside the entrance into Second Creek. Two months later during the BassResource

Roadtrip Glenn may have had this same fish hooked up on a spinnerbait in the back of the cove.

It was the biggest bass I have ever seen in person!

Most likely a bedding fish. Not unusual, considering they are just defending the nest.
