I was just wondering if y'all have had success with these...if so when, where, how and what color were you using

They've been one of my go to plastics this year. Watermelon, green pumpkin, summer craw, black and blue, and Okeechobee craw have all been good here.

Meh..............not impressed, but not disappointed .I caught some fish on them when the bite was good, but they have failed to produce when the bite is tuff like my confidence baits. I'll use up or sell/trade what I have left, and won't be buying more. They are one of a handful of new baits I tried this year that didn't make get the call up to the regular rotation. I found it to be kind of a "tweener" bait. I didn't like them in clear water.........too much action/movement, nor do I like them in dirty water..........not enough action or movement. I like subtle OR in your face.....some where in the middle don't cut it for me.

 

Pro's: Cheap, durable, available everywhere

 

Con's: Cheap, durable, available everywhere, and the QC flat out sucks. Too many baits with mis-shaped/bent/crappy tails, consistency of colors from one bag of baits to the next is terrible, and I just don't have any confidence in them when the bite is tuff.

One of my favorite beaver style baits since they've come out. Summer craw lately has been the deal pitched into and along the edges of the water willows. Big Texan, lime-purple passion, Okechobee craw, perfection blue, vampire orange, GP/orange flake, black sapphire, all have done well for me. I like them with either a 1/4oz weight if there's not much cover or a 3/8oz if I need it to get through some stuff. 4/0 EWG hook and 20lb fluoro. 

To each his own. It's my favorite flipping bait! It has great action. I like any green pumpkin derivative, but my favorite color is Big Texan.

I got some for free to try out, Big Texan color, and so far...love it. I have been fishing it with a 3/16 weight T-rigged and have had success. I would like to get some other colors to try, too, to see if its going to be a regular staple for me. The durability isn't that great, but the price can't be beat. I have used worse!
