Does the PB&J color jig work In lightly stained water?

It works everywhere.

 

Balance it with black/blue.

 

No go out and start to experiment with jigs and don't forget your pigs.

Seems to work well in my lakes. Depending on where you go the water can go for crystal clear to dirty almost muddy color and everywhere in between. PBJ seems to catch em in either condition. 

IMO PB&J is a lightly stained to clear water color. But that doesn't mean it won't work in dirty water as well. You should have no problem catching fish with that color. I would choose a plum or junebug trailer depending on what shade of purple is in the skirt. 

Its a very universal color. Strike king makes a rage craw in pb amd j that matches pb and j skirts.

I like PB&J here on Table Rock or the local Smallmouth streams in every water color except completely muddy. It and Rusty Orange w/Green Pummpkin are my two "go-to" colors.

The nice thing about PB&J jigs is you can match your trailer to the water color.  If the water is stained, use a bright blue or purple trailer.  You can also use green pumpkin trailers and dye the tips chartreuse.  If the water is clear, use green pumpkin/watermelon trailers or something that is more natural.  Jigs are very versatile in that way, you can really customize them to the conditions you face on a day to day basis.

I've done well with PB&J in all water colors from really clear water at Table Rock to really muddy water at Cedar Bluff. Like Jrob said you can mess with trailer color to match water color. I like black or purple in muddy water and GP or brown/purple in clear or stained water.
