I have my first reel.  It's a Shakespeare 2200 ultralight spinning reel.  I got it as a gift when I was about 9.  I finally stopped using it about 10 years ago when a spring broke on it, and the new spring had to be modified so that it would fit correctly.  I also have my first BC reel, an old Diawa Millionaire 5HS reel, as well as, a Johnson Century 100 spincast reel that is probably as old as I am.

What?  No one has a Popeil Pocket Fisherman?

It's on the shelf next to my Mr. Microphone

I have a Shakespeare Sigma/Ugly Stick combo I've had for 30+ years.  I keep it as an extra setup for nephews or friends that go with me that don't fish a lot or can't throw a bait caster.  I also have a pile of jitter bugs and assorted lures I've had most of my life.  I suppose I keep them because I've just had them so long.  I've never really thought much about it.

I suppose that's also why I've had my Suzuki RF900 for 18 years too.
