Suffix 832???

Featured Replies

I have 20# 832 on a spinning rig.  It works fine.  It may be "more modern" with gore and 8 strand carrier braid, but I don't find it performs any better than Power Pro I've been using for years.  I do like the bright yellow/green for line watching.

Just about every major brand I've used has proven itself for my kind of fishing.  It's mostly PP as I can buy it anywhere at any time of the day.  I don't worry about the strength as most major brands

I fished the 50lb 832 for the last week.  I liked it better than any braid I've used so far.  I'll be sticking with it for some time.

I liked the video. Not a bad test IMO. I basically had the same results as him when I surfcasted. I never used PP SuperSlick but did use reg. PP. The Suffix had better abrasion resistance than both PP & Fireline. I never used the 832 but I believe i'll give it a go next time I need to spool up.
