Question About Yo Zuri

Featured Replies

My local Walmart used to carry it but doesn't any longer so to try it I have to order it from eBay. Anyways my question is about how much stretch it has. Since it's a co polymer how much more when compared to a good fluorocarbon? I'm interested in the 15lb

It has less stretch than invizx. The only other flouro I've used is pline flouroclear and I would say they're similar. The only real difference I can tell between the pline and yozuri is the pline has a little more memory.

I run Sunline sniper on everything but I did try the invisx at one point. Sounds like it'll be fine.

Should read the test TT did.  Many fluoros stretch similar amounts as mono.  I really like yo zuri hybrid. Low stretch and good abrasion resistance and sensitivity.

The yo zuri has less stretch, but it's not a pure fluoro, it's a copolymer.

I'm a big fan, but I suggest going with #12 (19. 5 lb breaking strength).

#15 is too stiff, retains too much memory and CANNOT be broken when

you need to break off.

I love the 10# Yo-Zuri hybrid, and use it with no problems on a baitcaster.

I've used both on baitcasters.  Depending on the method,  the 15# has better shock strength.  Say for spinnerbaits,  crankbaits,  buzzbaits in open water,  12#.   Jigs,  worms,  bigger baits where there is going to be a hard hookset in cover,  15#.
