Jig with Rage Craw trailer. I can catch fish anywhere, all throughout the year on that.

The Trick Worm. It can be used for pretty much every technique and works year-round for me.

Spoon, fishes everywhere.  Freshwater, saltwater, inshore, offshore and just about any species will hit them.

And the same can be said with Big Hammer swimbait. The 3" swimbait is my go to lure. It's the one that I always have on my vest pocket for Saltwater or Freshwater fishing. :)

1 bait for the rest of my life ..... tough one, but ......... 5" single curlytail grub plus a good assortment of terminal tackle ( hooks, jigheads & sinkers ) can make a 5" grub an all around bait in the hands of a skilled and experienced fisherman.

i'm 90% bank fishing...

zoom u-tail.  with, like raul said, a good amount terminal tackle to be able to fish it differently.

but that little 'ol worm has done well for me.

it might get some smaller fish.....but i've caught plenty of big fish on it too... and if i gotta pick just one...i know it will produce.  imo

Probably an in line spinner like a Mepps or Rooster Tail. It'll catch fish of all sizes plus multiple species.

Spinnerbait.  You can fish it shallow or deep, fast or slow.  It can be used the same as a jig............with earrings as has been said.

This for sure.

My second choice would be a frog purely because I enjoy fishing them more than any other bait.

think about going through the rest of your life without a topwater bite. gonna have to go with a rebel pop r

Are jigs suppost to represent bait fish?

Depends on the presentation. In theory when followed the match the hatch school of thought a jig when swimed represents a bait fish, when hopped along the bottom a crawfish. Since I don 't believe in the match the hatch theory I don 't really care what in theory it represents all I know is that it works, swimming or hopping along the bottom.

Gary Yamamoto senko in watermelon/black flake.  I consider myself a finesse fisherman and this is the lure that when all else fails gets me bites.

JIG!!!
