Hey Brian, I started a new job back in march and it demands a lot of my time and energy,I've been on the road a lot during the week and haven't been able to fish as much as I wanted. I have three weeks off around Christmas and plan on fishing the winter pattern..lol.

The family is doing well, little man is growing like a weed.

I've been doing a lot more reading on BR and less posting, but I haven't gone anywhere. I still have a lot of new gear and tackle that was purchased last winter and spring that hasn't been used yet...so I'm pretty excited about getting out more...

Straight up gnarly metal beard! This is what I'm going for. The Raiders jersey is a nice touch too.

After shaving my head all summer I'm letting my beard grow till it's like Santa and the duck dynasty guys and my hair till I have a pony tail. Then it's time for a new motorcycle. Bill

 

Plus its going to be a cold winter and facial hair does keep us warmer.

Still have the beard and mustache, but the wolverine sideburns had to go the other day.

I'm not directly participating but have a story nonetheless. My son left for college In August and I have seen him twice since.

 

He came home for Fall break and we got together for some long overdue daddy- son time. He walked In , like always, and I happened to be paying a bill online and didn't look up for a second. To my surprise when I got up to hug him he had a full beard. When he was at home he had no facial hair and to say I was a little surprised was an understatement. I asked him about It and he simply said:" daddy, It's no shave November." I laughed and told him about this thread.

I was at my parents house the other day and it was jaws on the floor.... I said, " Daddy I had it when we rode together to sell my boat. "

 

He said, " not like THAT!"

I get no shave 7 months. Once the baby comes in July I got to trim it. I ain't doing long goatee and baby again. Nothing worse than a baby hanging off your facial hair.

So as the month is ending is everyone planning to clean the face up? I'm letting it grow until my wife decides its too much for her. But she is saying " keep it going" for now
