What Else Do I Need

Featured Replies

Ive got plenty enough of spinnerbaits, have some (4 jigs), couple of shallow cranks, and plastics. Now you can never have enough plastics. So I plan to get more plastics...like rage claw, stuff like that. Now keep in mind I dont fish more than 8' deep of water. And I plan to buy a 100 dollar rod leaves me about 191 bucks to spend on fishing.

What else do ya think I need??

Topwater, get a popper and a dog walker. Good line, depending on what you use. Hooks, keel weighted and plain. Bullet weights. Good pliers. Polarized shades. Spike it markers. Swimbaits, soft and hard. Good luck! (I am curious to see the Rage Claw, new thing Big O has out?)

I manage to pick up a Lew's and a Bass Pro Shops Extreme Reel. I'll be using 50lbs braid and 17 lbs Seagear Tatsau Flurocarbon. I picked up some Strike King Tungsten 1/4 and 3/8 ounce weights. Ive got Costa Permits on the way. I picked up some Yum Money Minnows, and most of the time I take my Multi Tool out.

Thats the Idea of a Senko. It has very subtle action.

Fish it weightless either Texas or wacky riged. Dont try to import too much action. Just toss or skip it around the bank or under docks and overhanging trees and let it sink slowly. Give it a light twitch or lift slowly now and again. Works best for me in the spring when fish are shallow.

That nothing, subtle action is what makes it so effective - there is nothing else like it.

Just remember, you don't work them, they work for you!

Comfortably Numb and A-Jay hit it. The biggest mistake I see guys make fishing a senko/stick worm is doing too much. Lift, sink, sit, repeat

My buddy is a great jig fisher but fishes a Senko the same way and does not do well with it.
