Thought I Caught My First Winter Bass

Featured Replies

I was so excited because I thought I caught my first winter bass. I was using my Dobyns 704 glass rod with a Bandit 300. I was so disappointed when it turned out to be a trout!!

Well,  congrats.  Atleast its a fish.

Thanks. The way things are going I'm happy to catch anything. I'm going back to jigs tomorrow, Siebert Outdoors of course, I don't think the trout will hit that. Lol

At least you got one in the boat, I haven't even got to go fishing yet this year.

WTG! At least you didn't get skunked.

Your making me homesick ..and hungry :)

About this time of year we would be smoking up about 20 pounds with apple chips...

Something about the cold that makes them smoke better...

Nice Rainbow trout !
