Everybody out there has a certain lure or technique they flat out enjoy the most...from a bobber and worm to the slightly more technical Carolina rig and everything in between, what's your favorite way to fish?

Granted it's probably not the best idea getting too caught up in any specific technique, but sometimes I can't help having a few favorites. Me I enjoy the challenge of finesse fishing a tube in 30 feet of water or enticing a lunker with the sporadic action of a weightless fluke. What technique seems to fit you the best?

Could be a Spinner bait, a Crank bait, Swim bait,or Top water just as long as I'm heaving it out there and grinding it back.

Taking a dog for a walk! I remember 1 summer a few years back, it seemed like it was a topwater day every time out. Boy, I wore out my Spit'n Image that summer.

Soft plastics. 1) Wacky 2) TX 3) mojo.

Throwing a rage tail shad, this lure is hard to beat, nothing ive ever thrown catches as big as fish, the seeing the blowups is always an amazing time.

Fishing wood. Thats mine. With squarebills spinnerbaits and jigs.

Spinnerbait is a close second...I think it has something to do with the fact I caught my PB on a spinnerbait...It doesn't suck, that's for sure

T-rig, weightless trick worm, shallow at the shoreline.

Jerkbaits....I love to experiment with retrieves and cadences. It's always cool to see a bass stuff most of a full size jerkbait in it's mouth...head first. Not so much getting them back out!

Jerbaits for me...I always have one tied on somewhere and its my fav way to fish...a close second is walkin the dog with a sammy or a spook.

it is rare for me not to have atleast alittle action on a jerkbait

Noodling bass!

I am in the same camp as A-Jay. Any thing that moves fast. Swimjigs, spinnerbaits, lipless cranks, buzzbaits, and stanley ribbits are all my favorites. Senko fishing is about as fun as watching paint dry unless I am working it like a fluke or jerkbait.

Not so much one technique, but one or two specific covers: thick vegetation or heavy brush and boat docks!!

Punching, flipping, pitching, froggin, ripping swimbaits nd swim jigs through hydrilla is just my thing.

I also love skipping docks with jogs, plastics, flukes and square bills.

That's my niche, that's what I enjoy most, but still fish alotnof other techniques and diffeent structure like everyone else.

Hank parker once said that if u find grass, you will find bass... I just toook it and ran with it. Its paid off

I am a successful finesse fisherman, but my favorite thing to do is crank a squarebill along wood and rock!

I really enjoy using a trick worm in clear water. Small or no weight, tons of actions and just watching fish come from 50+ feet away to come take a look (and usually strike) Although I haven't landed the big ones yet. Easily had a few 8 to 10lbs go after them in the summer.

Fishing slow with a jig. Doesn't matter time of day or year, the jig is my little buddy.

I enjoy throwing a square bill in shallow cover.

Can't name a single lure or technique because that varies from late April into mid July when I fish a sizable clear water reservoir in central Mass for smallies.

 

Could be:

 

 vibrating baits

 

suspending jerkbaits

 

jigs

 

spinnerbaits

 

crankbaits

 

wacky rigged Senkos

 

poppers and walkers

 

. . . To sum up: Whatever presentation works under the conditions of a particular day. 

I like buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, jigs, drop shotting, shakey heads although my big fish come from the jigs and shakey heads

Split shot rig. Senko as a close second, usually wacky. Frogs being third.
