I almost grabbed the white one it' was pretty cool worth the fish bones. But my boat is red so I had to match plus I figured if I can't get a bite maybe I'll put that mask on and scare them out of the water. Ha

I used to laugh and why in the world anyone would want one of these.

 

Then last year I figured it out while having to make a pretty good run back to the ramp in a heavy rain with what felt like raindrops the size of very dense ping pong balls.

I have been trying to catch one of these on sale since that day.

 

Now I will be prepared.............well as soon as they arrive at my local BPS and I pick them up.

I can normally deal with the cold early in the year. By the time the ice is gone, it's regularly in the 50's. In the fall, before the hard water comes, I might be fishing when it's in the 20's. I've got one of those fleece pull overs, but my eyes still get cold. The save phace should alleviate that problem. I texted my son and asked if he wanted one. His response was "Everyone will make fun of us" I said they'll make fun of you because you'll be huddled underneath the console shivering. I will say this. My last boats top speed was 40mph and this one is 60mph. That extra 20mph is extra cold. LOL

I think boats should have a windchill indicator gauge right beside the speedometer and other gauges.

No backups......everything I buy for individual use I have to buy 3 of.......1 for me, wife and son. Kills my pocket book.

I bought 3 of the fish bones (Lip Rippa)and 1 of the camo. Wife thought son would want a camo (Hed Hunter).....but I thought the Lip Rippa was cool so I got an extra so he can pick. The other one will go back to BPS.

Been using one of these for years. On a 20 degree morning with snow. There worth there weight in gold for sure. Now my Lund is slow, but with it being a tiller boat, I have nothing to get behind. Unless a three people is in the boat. Then I can use one of those for shelter. LOL

Then in rain its great and does not block your view. Shoot in hard rain you can still see where without one your blind.

Mine was one of the black ones, I Dipped it and now its Carbon Fiber. So changing the color is not an issue if you find the one you picked out just bothers you and can't stand the color.

Yeah, I'm married.

I picked up 3 Black Mamba's.... 1 for me, 1 for any co-angler that rides with me, and 1 backup.... 

Sale is over. I had mine delivered to the store and picked them up today. Wifey is upset I didn't get her one. I took her walleye fishing this past November in 20* temps and she wasn't thrilled about freezing her face off.

Grabbed mine this afternoon, at the BPS pickup, The Fallen looks great! I think i'll just stick my head in the water while wearing the mask that should shock/stun the fish then we can just scoop them up. haha

 

Oh and as soon as someone mentioned wife i knew i messed up by not getting a backup/wife mask. Guess she will be wearing mine when its cold. ha if she goes when its cold that is.
