well you were the last... they are sold out now :(

By just, I meant last night.

I just checked and there not sold out yet. T3 ballistic is 112$ on there as well.

and I agree nothing under 200$ would compare to the t3's there amazing reels....I wanna buy more at that sale price to give to my friends but sadly I can't lol

I only saw the XS ones for 199$ the t3 ballistic was 150 for me

Curado I 179.99. This reel has a lot of great stuff in it as well as great blood line. A champ in the making

Put in your cart for the 25% off for the Classic.

Thanks.  Wish I had known early last week.  Shipped out a MO Friday for a T3MX1016XHL with a couple upgrades for a little over the TW $202 price.  Not familiar with the high end Daiwas as they are above my price limit.  The reel I picked up has an RCS1016 spool in it instead of the stock one and ABEC7 Boca Bearing is installed on the spool and a normal bearing in the level wind.  Did I do good, or should I have gone for the TW reel?  Reel has minor scratches.

You did good since you got a upgraded t3 MX around 200$ shipped. The t3 1016 is really similar to the t3 MX expect it has better spool and cork knobs (there covered with something). I believe the spool on your t3 MX is the same as the t3 1016 so you got a great deal...I like the t3 MX the best.

Thanks for the reply.  Didn't mean to high jack the thread.  It is a nice looking reel.  :teeth:  Looking forward to some warmer weather to try it.

You did good. Report back on how you like it - good or bad. ;)

Well after a lot reading and asking questions I decided to go the Daiwa Tatula Type R. Thanks everyone for the suggestions and advice I will keep them in mind for my next setup.

I own 4 Plflueger Patriarch 3 of the silver and one of the new blue.

Best reels I have ever owned. Not saying the others are bad reels at all, every reel has its good and bad points. If I were to purchase again today, I would try and find all silver patriarchs. The blue is nice, but feels cheap to be honest. Not like the titanium silver ones. But the blue ones have a oil hole on the bottom.

As for performance. The will throw a mile, but with each breakoff you will lose some distance. I run 12lbs at 100 yrds. last year, this year im going to run 10lbs. So hoping to get even more distance. I have pulled in a 6 and 5 lbers with these reels with ease. Great drag system. Im sure any real in the 200 dollar range is going to be a good reel to be honest.
