Watch Your Ups Man Carefully

Featured Replies

I live in a 3rd floor apartment. So I look out the window today and see the ups guy pull up. Tracking says he should have my TW order. So as I make my way to the door, I look out the peephole and I see him come half way up the stairs, turn and launch my package at my door. The box slides across the carpet and slams into my door. I mean it really hit hard, hard enough to squish a corner of the box. It makes me wonder how many other packages of mine he has done that with.

I would have stopped him and said something! I don't want something I paid for with my hard earned money damaged by someone else's carelessness :tsk-tsk:

I was in shock, and by the time I opened the door he was in his truck driving away. I did complain to UPS though.

My UPS lady loves me (I just get that vibe), so I have nothing to worry about. I have the feeling she just hopes I am home when she has a package to deliver.

My UPS guy from home knows me from a friend, so luckily we're good.

Funny story.

The other day at the office we get a delivery from UPS.  Mind you, we get LOTS of deliveries at my office.

I arrived and looked at the box and noticed it had a big sticker on it that said, "Emergency medical device!  Deliver immediately!".

On the other side it said PROSTHETIC!

I called the doctor's office that was the correct recipient and they were shocked.  Said they'd send someone right over, which they did.

I joked all day that we had received someone's leg or foot at the office.  It was a long box...

If he has done it this time good chance it wasn't the first time and probably to other people as well.  I"m sure with UPS or Fed Ex it's SOP to just leave most packages by the front door, sometimes they don't even ring the bell. The other day I see a neighbors package sitting in the middle of the driveway, not only is exposed to the elements but it could easily be stolen, this practices needs to be stopped.

Chase him down yelling, "doo doo brown suit, doo doo brown suit!". He will be laughing so hard at this. That he will hit a power pole. Thusly causing the lines to break free and arc phase to phase to phase on his truck. The resulting arc flash will blow the windows in on him and detonate the gas tank. Thusly vaporizing him in a fire ball of hot death. You will never have to worry about him throwing another package again. Problem solved.

My momma always told me to use my words, and not my fist. See how much more effective it is!

Have you told her to step inside because you have a package for her.

Yes, but she said she couldn't accept my package because it was oversized.  :)
