I threw some old running shoes in the living room, pitched a jig to 'em, set the hook, and released them alive after a very short fight. Kept me busy for about 6 minutes.

Unless you have pictures, it didn't happen.

I'll tell you one thing after the winter we've been having, you won't see me complaining about the heat this summer. Right now I'll take anything above freezing!!!

You could go to your nearest BPS and go fishing in their big aquarium. They always have giant deformed looking bass in them. I figure you can get 2-3 casts in before you're asked to leave...

Not to rub it in or anything, but the good thing for me is that I will be going to Florida in a couple of weeks. We will be staying with a friend of mine that lives in Satelite beach... on the bay... with a boat. :respect-059: It won't be bass fishing, but i'll take it... I'll send you a post card. :MSN-Emoticon-face-037:

You'll probaply want to :punch-2: me... I'll be on my way now

Thats why I moved to south Florida 40 years ago.  Enough of that white crap.  The worst was slush when that stuff started to melt.  Was living in Northeast Ohio, I have not regretted the move for a second.

It would be a pretty far drive for you but newton is a really good lake. I haven't been there in the winter I think the fishing can be a little tough but some of the biggest bass are caught there this time of year.

. Don't you just love the black slush in north east Ohio after a good snow. Or when you can't see 3 yards in front of you.
