Crankbait Rod Help

Featured Replies

I am looking around for a decent crankbait rod but there are so many options in the $150 range. I am going to pair this rod with a Daiwa Tatula 6.3:1 reel and use it mainly for shallow to medium depth cranks, say 4-12 ft. Does anyone have some good first hand experience they would share? I would like a length of 7'-7'3" but am open for a little longer. TackleTour has a very positive review for the Luck Craft rod that is a 7'0" Medium power that has caught my eye, but I have never heard of them other than that reveiw.

dobyns 705cb glass is be perfect for those

I really like my St croix mojo glass, but that lucky craft rod does sound great...fuji sic guides, reel seat.  But no hook keeper?  Why on earth do they not put a hook keeper?  Anyway, that lucky craft sounds like a winner, but if you want to save a few bucks then the mojo glass is also a winner.

I love my croix MHz premier, can cast 1/4 all the way to 10 ft divers
