Same as always.... Don't drown, don't break anything expensive, and get my kids out as much as I can. The fishing takes care of itself.

Just being out on the lake. Anything else is a plus

Only one more surgery....and more and more days on water.

Fish more, work less. Win more tournaments, stop losing so many so many lures. And understand the bass in the lakes I fish better.

For this year?

We measure our fish by length rather than weight, but here goes.

20"+ smallmouth bass

18"+ largemouth bass (largies are rare up here)

24"+ walleye

My first crappie and white bass.

Hopefully I'll stay away from the northern pike!

I just wanna go fishing.

My 60th is right around the corner and I'm hoping for the gift of my life (so far) 1 mine you, just 1 - 10+ large mouth, 1 - 8lb. spot - 1 - 6+ smallie. Not much to ask for, right?

To fish before april 1. Its snowing here and like 5 degrees

Fish more.

My goals are:

1). Have as much fun as possible.

2).Share the experience with as many friends as possible.

3).Go out as often as the wife will allow, and she never said no yet.

4).Learn something new on every trip.

5).Leave for home as soon as it starts feeling like work.

Do well in my tournaments.

3) use the stuff I have learned on here and other places over the winter

4) win some tournaments

5) don't get hit by lightning ( this one is always on my list )

If you want a great chance at a 7+ lb large mouth try leech lake, especially since you like to jig, it is pretty much jigs and frogs...

1) Catch a bass every month (December always gets me... I have 9 months to prepare!)

2) Successfully use my electronics to find fish and get away from the bank.

3) Get out more often!

Thanks man I have always wanted to make a trip up to Leech, wish it was a few hours closer. I know a few guys up in that area that nail some giants on jigs and chucking frogs in the wild rice every year.

Fish more. Learn more. Catch more.

Smallmouth - 5lb

Spot - 3lb
