So I read in the Wilson trip thread that Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee has some kind of agreement on the lake regarding licenses. Could someone explain to me how that works?

Wilson is 100% Alabama. The Alabama license allows you to fish all the way to the Pickwick Dam.

This includes the portions of the lake in Mississippi and Tennessee.

 

 

 

yes....... alabama is all you need for wilson.

 

I fish pickwick a lot too and I still only need an Alabama License to fish from pickwick dam to wilson dam.

 

now if you are going to below the Pickwick Dam you need to spring for a TN permit, which you will not be doing during the Roadtrip as Pickwick Dam is almost 2 hours away from Doublehead resort.
