I'm looking at the Abu Garcia Vendetta for a new spinning rod.  Is this a good rod to pair with a Shimano Symetre?

The Veritas is on sale for the same price at Gander MTN. The Vendetta is a bit heavy compared to the Veritas.

Veritas is the same price and I think its a better rod.  I would personally purchase the veritas over the vendetta

I have both Veritas's and vendettas... Flip a coin.

My wife had a couple of Vendetta's and had problems on both rods with the eye inserts popping out - on multiple eyeletts on both rods.  Had them fixed a few times, but more (original eyes) popped out, so into the garbage they went.

I think the vendetta is trash!!!  I had one explode into a bunch of little pieces on the first big fish that hit my drop shot rig.  Switched to All Star!  And I prefer Abu Garcia equipment!
