For Those Of Us Who Hate Ice Fishing But Want To Fish

I had a better idea. I was spooling up reels this past weekend and tied cat toys to the line and casted for cats. I was disappointed. They didn't put up a fight. Just sat on the toys and chewed on the Seaguar.

The "free do not disturb" sign is unneccessary.

I think the whole thing is unneccessary but still funny none the less. I think the cat idea is great. Wife hates cats (thank god) so no cats to try that on but d**n that could be fun.

Never liked them either. My stepdaughter brought over 2 kittens one day because her girlfriends cat had a litter and she couldn't take care of all of them, She knows I'm a sucker for whatever she asks and now I have (2) 1 year old cats.

Oh I'm the same way. Main reason I have so many animals. Kids want this or that and boom there's a new animal to the collection. As long as they are taken care of and healthy that's all I care about.

Next time use a bait with trebles on it. In my experience, they love topwaters. My PB slammed into a Super Spook Jr right as it swung through the door jam of my bedroom. A 10lb grey tabby with a hook in it's paw will peel drag like a river run steelhead with the attitude of a pi$$ed off bull shark. I recommend having a rubberized net, heavy duty gloves, and some long handles pliers for hook removal though.

I spend a lot of time during the winter with an old pistol grip casting rod and old baitcaster, casting a knotted up old sock to our Golden Retriever. Doesn't really help much with the cabin fever but it's usually good for some pretty good comedic relief.

I grabbed my muskie rig for my dog. A 95lb lb rot lab mix. I should have been using deep sea gear. He never ran with it though. He would always bring his toy back.
