Best Lake In Your State

Torch Lake ~ at 19 miles, it's Michigan longest inland lake.

Very deep and clear Torch has an average depth of 111 feet and a max depth at a crazy 283 feet.  Although perhaps most famous as a trophy Muskie producer, including a couple of recent state records, as well as an excellent land locked salmon fishery, the fishing for both green & brown bass is killer.

Quabbin.  Hands down.       Insanely clear water, don't allow powerboats and offer two distinctly different sides of massively diverse condidions- the open lake side and the Pog Pond side.  The lat

have you seen the weights coming out of Wateree lately?? Giant stringers. I'm sure Santee is still at the top in our state though.

Yes wateree has produced some great sacks lately. I hope it continues. We really need to have some first class fisherys again. I base my opinion solely on the history of big fish coming out of santee and it still produces. If wateree stays where it's the next few years I may have to change my mind!

That place is a toad factory.

I went back and watched the FLW coverage from last year......... wow was I ever wrong.

I stand MORE than corrected.

Best lake in VA that I fish at is Queens Lake. Its a private lake in a neighborhood in York county. Pulled out 10 citation crappie over a few years biggest one being 20 inches and about 3 3/4lbs and just last weekend got a 9lb largemouth. On average they're about 4 lbs. Real clear lake about 6-20ft deep

In Florida it is Toho. Not because I like it, in fact it is one of my least favorites to tourney fish.  Just for the huge number of 5+ pound fish.  For the last several years it has taken 25+ pounds to even be close to the money.  30 lbs will not even guarantee you a win.

Stick Marsh does not allow tournaments.  Fished it last year.  The guy with me had 36 lbs. for 5, and I had 28.  This happens all the time out there.  Toho is great but the Marsh is off the chart.  Down side to the Marsh is you better know where your going or you got a good shot at losing your lower unit.

Lake Anna Va for me definitely it has been producing awesome numbers of good fish lately and it's one of those lakes where a 7+ fish could very well be the next cast away

The Great Sacandaga Lake of course. However there is a ton of lakes in NY so to say I've fished them all would be a lie.
