A few years back I had a few of these baits and they worked great. I think the company that made them went out of business. Does anyone have any info on how to make them or if a company still makes them. I would like to make them for myself with the input I get from here. They worked great on smallies. I lost the last one I had a few years back in a muskies mouth.

Ah after doing a google search. do they look like a giant inline spinner with a buzz blade and a tube attached?

Buzz just about anything - they work great.

  The Rizzo Wiz is a fairly famous in-line Spinner routinely used for musky ~ especially in Wisconsin. 

 

Fairly basic bait - looks like a bucktail spinner which uses a slightly over-sized tube bait instead of bucktail material.

I think it was made in Harrisburg,Pa. I had purchased them at the eastern sport show years ago in Harrisburg,Pa.

Theres no doubt in my mind that with the right spinnerbait or buzz you could rip the skirt right off and put the head inside a tube

I am trying to picture this in my head? If you want a spinnerbait with a tube body I suggest a single blade bait that you remove the blade and thread the wire thru the tube then slide it down over the spinnerbait head.
