It was a much needed trip for me, as I have had issue in the past catching fish post front. It was really nice to go out, catch a few early, piece together what was a pretty solid pattern and start culling! A real confidence booster.  

 

and truth be told, it was the first time I have fished lizards, I actually had to buy some the day before, so it was fun to add another bait and technique to the arsenal.

 

I would be remiss if I didn't mention that hook again...... very nice set up, that sticks a fish hard! cant wait until Mike starts selling them.
