A Rigs

Featured Replies

When do you guys throw one?  Is it usually a fall thing?  I finally got a rod that can handle it and itching to try it.

Whenever there's schools of bait fish.

The Rig seems to be more effective in the spring and fall.

When the water temp gets in the upper 50's I put it down...They may still bite it some but after a couple months of throwing it I'm ready for a break.

Late fall when it gets down to about 55 until next spring when it gets back to about 55. Find the baitfish and you'll catch fish on it, but remember to fish it slow.

Did well in the hot summer also.  Got in a windy cove and hammered them.  It was really windy tho.  I could barely handle it.  My partner just sit down and watched the show.  I had 15 minutes to fish and landed 4 nice bass.  Got second place in the tourny.  It was amazing.  They hit it like a freight train.  I was bringing along a wedbed.  If all else fails, why not try it.  Worked for me.
