Pit Boss Uses- Trailer?

Featured Replies

I keep reading stellar reviews for the Pit Boss so got a pack of the big and Jrs.  I was thinking it could be a decent trailer but I dont recall seeing anyone mentioning it as a trailer.  What is your favorite way to fish a Pit Boss?

I prefer to flip these.. But I do use them as a jig trailer too.... Not big on just as a stand alone casting bait... Only on jigs or close range combat!

Jika rig

It is a killer on the Jika as are many baits.

They're great trailers on jigs, swim jigs, and bladed jigs along with being a great flipping/pitching bait. The little ones are great on a shakyhead and they're awesome on a Biffle Bug head.

I use all three sizes, in just about every way you can think of. #1 use is flipping and pitching to cover on a T-rig. I prefer the chunk as a jig trailer over the 4" but I use the 3" as a finesse jig trailer often.

I'm a big fan of the chunk as a trailer on my jigs(swim, bladed, and skirted)

They work awesome for me on a T rig. When the head gets thrashed from that I cut off the top and save it for a jig trailer.
