Hey all

 

My name is Danny and I've been lurking here for almost 9 years now, figured it was about time to drop a line and introduce myself. 

 

My dad introduced me to bass fishing at a young age and I've been hooked on it since. I'm usually fishing in the spring, summer and fall whenever I have free time.

 

I look forward to getting to know my fellow anglers!

I've had my best luck on a few private ponds but been fishing pretty much every public place around town for a challenge. Watson and Emery are probably the top two. I haven't had much luck at Sedgwick County Park. Only been catching quantity instead of quality at these places though.

I need to get my boat out and hit Butler or McPherson.

What about you?

Mostly private stuff, when I fish out of town I like Butler and Melvern. I live very close to Watson, but have not fished it in years, any fish still left in that place?

Yeah there's quite a few small ones in there. I just happened to randomly go there one day and in my opinion it's probably one of the best in town public fishing ponds. I've heard the rumors of big ones being in there although I don't believe that.

I too am from Wichita. I just moved to the area and have been trying to find new spots. I have had good luck at Chisholm North Lake but haven't tried anywhere else yet. I posted a report in the Central Bass Fishing message boards. PM me if you ever need a fishing buddy in the area!
