I own about 50 of these but I never fish them. I decided I needed to learn to fish them to become a better angler. I probably would have caught more fish carolina rigging or throwing a shaky head, but I stuck with the spinnerbait. I ended up with 7. Not bad for a jon boat with only a trolling motor.

This could not be more true!  There are a few baits that follow this rule, but none more weird looking than spinnerbaits.  Until I started getting good a fishing soft plastics, I caught most of my bass with spinnerbaits.  Having another confidence lure in the arsenal is a terrific feeling also!

This is the time of year for spinnerbaiting, my favorite! When the spinnerbait bite is on there is no better way to fish. You can cover a ton of water, fish them 50 different ways, and the strikes are always amazing.

My favorite spinnerbait time is windy weather. Seems that white is the go to color for the cloudy days.

Good Job, bet they wont be the last spinnerbait fish you catch.  Now in your off time think about where you used them, the conditions you used them in, and why you think you were successful.   Next time similar conditions present themselves you will have a good idea what may work. 

I saw on a BASS video where you can use a spinnerbait as a jig style for suspended bass. Nice one!
