I Promise Not To Buy Anymore Lures. ..

Featured Replies

Till my next paycheck.

Actually, I have more lures that I've used a handful of times to last me 3 lifetimes of fishing. It's so much fun finding out if a particular lure will work, run as expected and catch fish...75% of the lures I have has not caught a bass...yeah, I'm a sucker for new lures and the fishing industry has caught me hook, line and sinker!

So...Anyone have used or have an opinions on the Megabass X-Pod Jr???

It's going to be a nice addition to your collection, that's my opinion.

I had a couple, I am not sure that they perform any better than some of the other quality baits on the market like the Yellow Magic or LC, heck even the POP R will catch you a lot of fish.

I will put the POP R up against any Jdm popping type bait any day ! In fact, the indiana state record

Largemouth was 11 llb something... Caught in very southern Ind. in a private lake.... Really a big big pond.... Bait?... Pop r? 1/4 oz. you can tune those up too! Great bait at a really cheap price!

Oh, sorry for getting off subject a tad!

Don't lie to yourself or the bait monkey.  It's demeaning to both of you.  As long as you have a VISA or MASTERCARD in your pocket, you can buy baits between paychecks.  This I know.

Of course, if there ain´t paper there´s always plastic. :eyebrows:

im a firm believer that even with tight tolerances and getting a good batch, you might get one out of ten that will have something just enough different that it catches fish like a mad man.

It´s not a competition.

I´d say that 90% of my baits has never touched the water, that leaves me with 10% of the baits that I always fish with, if I´m going to spend in a bait that I know that it´s not going to touch the water at least I can spend it in a very nice looking bait.
