What Are The Advantages/benefits To A Bass Boat For Bass Fishing?

I know that bass boats are made specifically for bass fishing and have certain features that are unique to fishing bass. I was what all of the advantages/benefits and benefits to using a true bass boat for bass fishing is.

Casting deck

Storage, ability to get to spots quickly, pretty much all of the boat is a deck and I would assume most have a smaller draft

Storage, Casting deck front and back, speed, ability to run in shallow water, livewell tank to keep fish alive.

Casting deck, sit shallow in the water, fast, rod locker, tackle storage, live well, normally include electronics, normally include a foot-controlled trolling motor to let you keep both hands on your rod. In short, you don't need one to catch bass (search "russe048" on youtube), but it sure does make catching bass easier and more comfortable.

Because they look cool.

Less impacted by wind than other boats which sit higher above the water.

I had a 18 foot tracker avalanche tin boat and then got a Nitro Z9..... it was night and day.

ride, wind control, the whole deal.

Couldn't agree more I went from a 16ft multi species aluminum to a 18ft glass boat and there couldn't be more of a difference. I drag a lot of tubes and with the aluminum I was getting blown all over the place. The glass boat sticks a lot better and drifts parallel with the wind.

The OP was asking about true bass boats, not a comparison between aluminum and fiberglass bass boats.  True bass boats are made from both.  Both have their advantages and disadvantages, but the advantage that both have is the shallow draft, the casting deck, and to a lesser extent, the storage.  Unless you are a tournament fisherman, or just enjoy bugs in your teeth, speed is of no importance.

A true bass boat is any flotation device from which you catch bass.  It is simply a platform that will enable you to get off the bank.  It just depends on how much you want to spend for your platform.

The main reasons are they sit very shallow in water and easy to walk around. No big glass windshields to walk around. The bigger engines is so you can spend more time fishing and less time cruising.
