Anybody use Norman Lures?  I see that they are reasonbly priced.  I use mostly strkie king cranks because they have decent hardware and they flat out catch fish.  The norman lures look a little more fancy and have better colors in my opinion so I was going to grab a few.  Just looking for anyones thoughts.

Norman makes some great lures. My favorites are the Fat Boy, Deep Little N, Big N and Flat Broke. Great colors, consistent quality and affordable prices, you can't go wrong!

The DD22 is a legend when it comes to deep crankbaits.

i use their cranks a lot.  good price, awesome colors, and i don't have to change their hooks..

My #1 crankbait is the Norman Fat Boy (redear).

Great crank baits. Try their NRX cranks. Much better than SK's 5XD.

Thanks for the replies.  Wasnt sure about the hardware but looks like they are a great bang for the buck crank. I'd like to pull the trigger on some Lucky Crafts but I just lose to many cranks in the waters that I fish. I"ll give them a try.

I feel the same way about LCs. The paint jobs on the Norman cranks are fantastic. Great color selection too.

If you have access to deep water during the summer you MUST throw a DD22.  What was probably the best fishing day of my life came at Falcon Lake dragging DD22's through brush on main lake humps.  My son and I caught 100+ fish with the majority in the 3-7 pound range and a couple pigs to boot.   

I really like Norman cranks. I have had several break the bill, but for the price, and as many fish as they hook, its well worth it.  Broken bills after I blast it off a rock or sea wall will happen, just part of the game.

The deep little N and the DD22 are some of the best cranks around.

I've used them off & on for many, many years. A quality producer.

I catch a lot of fish on deep little n's, dd14's and dd22's. they are great for the money. Bandit cranks are also a good cheaper crank. I like lucky crafts but i have a hard time justifying spending that much on one crank when i can buy 3 normans or bandits or strike kings for the same amount of money

Quality crankbaits for sure - good enough hooks, good finishes, all of mine have run true (so far).  The Deep Little N is my "go to" for it's depth range and I use it the most.  I also toss Fat Boys, Thin Ns, NXSs, and DD22's as well.

 

This DLN is having a bit of a finish issue..................but then it's on the north side of 100 bass caught.  Caught a bass on it yesterday...

Excellent quality cranks for the money.

I've tried a lot of different brands of crankbaits and I rate their use by two things; Does the bait do what I expect of it.... Does it reach the depth intended, how bouyant is it, can I maintain contact with it,  can I keep it from snagging? Second, does it produce fish given the circumstances?

Norman lures meet those two criteria for me. Not that Rapalas, Bombers, Bandits and Strike King baits don't, I just don't use them under the same conditions I use my Norman's.

That said, I will normally opt for a Deep Little N, Fat Boy, or whatever Norman bait to start out my search and refine it by switching to a Bandit or Strike King which have similar characteristics. Rarely have I found the need to switch and my Bombers are now playing second fiddle to Bill Norman's baits. 

A quality product at a fair price that meets my expectations.  I can't ask for more from my tackle.

I like the Rapala DTs a lot better but when I'm looking for a cheap plastic crank to throw, Norman baits work without issues and have been around long enough to trust their products.   

I love to fish the Little N in some of the smaller rivers that I fish.
