  • Sounds like school's out, and some bored kid(s) are messing with you.  Get a deer camera, set it up, and see who it is.

Screw that. Nope. Seeing as its not supernatural so to speak. Get on some camo and get on the roof. Bring a large caliber rifle. (You ain't hunting deer) throw a couple Slim Jim's out and wait. Once t

Well, on Bigfoot Resource.com, there is a 18 page thread about a 30 lb largemouth bass caught from a farm pond...

Dig little holes and fill it with sand for foot prints , cameras , sasqatch xing signs , etc . Borrow an inferred I think thats how you spell it camera . Strings with cans attached at ankle height . If you hear cans the harry and hendersons are back.

Yeah I figure I will see it sooner or later. Each night more stuff keeps happening. Any idea on how to bait for them? I'll look for tracks again soon. I actually found one that is the same size as my shoe( a 15) but it wasn't a show it was a "Bigfoot track" of course. I'll post anything new I find. It's almost like a game between me and whatever it is. Hahah

And here I thought I was the only one that wore a size fifteen.

The commercials use Slim Jim's. Red Earth would be more knowledgeable about Bigfoot bait. He could probably tell ya how an catch a Wookie too. I get the feeling he likes big furry bipedal creatures.

Ha ok. I'm gonna try some Bigfoot calls tonight. If there's one here I'll find it.

Sweet jeebus you need to watch mountain monsters , one of the most technologically and knowledgeable scientists I have yet to see . Dear god im in tears 10 minutes into the show.

This is mainly in reply to red earth bc I took his advice and went in the woods. I found a trees that was like twisted around and broken recently but that could just be from storms. I felt like I was being watched the whole time but I ran out of there as fast as I could when I got hit on the back of the head by a rock about the size of a piece of ice. Any time I go into the woods I hear walking beside me and when I stop it stops but I don't see anything. It's spooky.

I will gladly let you stay in my cabin for a few nights. Once it gets dark and what ever it is comes back it 100x scarier than you would think. Just the thought of a 9 foot 800 pound thing that could easily tear me limb from limb roaming around outside my cabin is just a little freaky

if youre not pulling my leg, and im not saying you are, all those are signs of bigfoot. rock throwing, twisted trees and branches, and stalking. they are masters of stealth. but will show themselves at times. and if i was anywhere near georgia i might take you up on that. i must admit id probably be scared too if i had an encounter lol. also, you said you put bacon out, the trick is to fry the bacon outside and get the smell going through the air. you should file a report with the BFRO on their website, they will probably send someone out to investigate too if you want.

The game cam is an excellent idea.  You can also set up a webcam and use IR light for illumination.  IR can be picked up by most digital cameras.

Keep a loaded rifle, but only for protection.  If there's no reason to kill whatever it is, don't.  If there is, you'll know it.  Treat it like a charging grizzly.  I'd recommend a .300 Magnum at minimum and open, express-style sights with a heavy solid flat point or heavy soft point.

The roof vantage point is an excellent idea.

Unusual things I've seen?  No Sasquatch, but I heard funny noises out by the creek some years back.  I went and took pictures of the tacks the next day and asked others to check them, too.

The picture was of hyena tracks in northern Indiana.  I've not seen them before or since.

the game cam is a horrible idea. very very few pictures claiming to show bigfoots have come from game cams. they dont like IR light either. like i said earlier a game cam would be avoided by a bigfoot or destroyed by it. nightvision things and thermal imagers are better tools to employ...

Im like an hr away a buddy of mine is near cherry log

If it's bogfoot and you guys catch it, I would like a swatch of hair as a souvenir.

i know there is other people on here holding out bigfoot stories for fear of ridicule, i just know it. especially since the crowd is outdoorsmen(and womens) types lol

I disagree.  The game cam is a very good thing to use to catch the night prowlers that are probably wreaking the havoc.

If you don't catch anything on the digital camera and/or the noises shift to elsewhere, then you have more evidence in the lack of captured images.  You then switch tactics.

You're right, absolutely right

In my opinion, you should buy fireworks and rig trip alarms. Should something trip a flare, run out the door yelling Merica while firing an AR into the air. That'll keep the bad pranksters away. Could also scare what other poltergeist that may be lurking.

You're right, absolutely right

you been hinting a lot. either you got truthful stories or are just fooling around altogether. i dont know.

Big foot? No.

Yeti? Yes.

I thought yeti's were northern or polar creatures .

I'm gonna be so bummed if the action stops tonight after getting this good advice. So what kind of stuff should I try tonight if I go "squatching"

I'm not sure if I'll make it back home soon enough though. I did leave apples and grapes out too

You need to call up the "Finding Bigfoot" goons... Have BoBo call him out of the woods...  In all seriousness though, maybe you could set up a tree stand and stay in it a few nights.  Make sure to wear scent blocker, too.  You can't have those large beasts that stalk the shadows of the forest smell your stench, human stench that is, before they get close enough for you to see them.

If you want to find Bigfoot. You guys are looking in the wrong area. Hit any NASCAR race or a game at Wrigley in late summer. You will see plenty of Hairy men. That could pass as a trimmed Bigfoot.

I wonder what charges would be filed if you accidentally shot a man in a bigfoot costume outside your house?

Around here its not legal to harm anyone trespassing. But if he's in a costume of something that might or might not be real and scaring the pants off ya, would that give enough reason to shoot him? That would be one hell of a court battle...

The apples that I left hanging from a tree are gone... I hung them at my head heigh around 6'6" off the ground.

I'm not screwing with anybody. I swear this stuff is really happening. I'll check for any signs tomorrow it's far too dark now.

I'd seriously do the game cam, security camera, or even a GoPro.  Aim it at the chair.  You'll catch the kids/pranksers easily that way. And if it really is an elusive, IR shy, game-cam-killing squatch, well...then you'll know that too.
