Okay the bait monkey is starting to get me. I just made a 50$ PTL order and a 65$ tackle warehouse order. It doesn't seem like much but I'm only a rising sophomore in high school and no job! What's worse is there's a cabelas opening up about 15 minutes away (never been so excited to lose so much money!) a bass pro just opened about 30 minutes away and there is a gander mtn in that same area. How do I control the bait monkey? Anyone else have this problem hahaha?

Try and get a job at one of the stores.  Never mind, that may make it worse.

How do you control it? Tell your parents to stop giving you money. That should fix it.

But seriously start applying for the new cabelas, most who work there have limited sporting knowledge. You'll be a step ahead and you get discounts.

Dude the only help you´ll get from is telling you what´s the hotest and that´s about it, "tackle purchase interventions" ----> that ain´t gonna happen ever.

When I go to a tackle store, before I ever buy a new lure I think "can I live without this lure?"  Just today we bought some new hollow body frogs cuz ours are getting pretty worn out.  Topwater frogs always make the cut.  lol  Dang that bait monkey.

I don't have my license and the age for cabelas is 18 and my parents don't give me money I worked at the concession stand for my baseball league but the season is over an my neighbors pay me to dog sit for them every now and then. On the bright side though I don't have that big of a tackle selection or rod and reel arsenal anyway (2 baitcasters 2 spinning about to be at least one more baitcaster)

Just give in to the temptation! The man with the most tackle dies happy! Pay your bills first though!

the bait monkey led me to excessive outdoors where theyre having a sale on zoom plastics. ended up with enough to last me through the season. now the bait monkey is whispering its time for a TW order but im trying to control it and wait for a july 4 sale
