How many coats should be used?  I don' want to do to much where it will be shiny plastic.. Thanks an advance

Does it make cork slippery or tacky?

One coat, brush off excess. And no, it is neither slippery nor tacky. 

It's good stuff, you will like it.

I just applied some for the 1st time this morning. I think I did pretty well. Picked up some art brushes from the grocery store and went to town. I feel "protected". I think this bottle will last me about 20yrs.

I believe it's a water based polymer, a little goes a long way.

Never heard of it - where to buy ? I just have coated my cork grips when new with a vinyl and leather protectant for cars - I let it soak in then wipe off the excess . Not sure if it actually helps or not ...

I got some from the tackle trap, but maybe a board sponsor sells it. It was under 6 bucks.
