    Yep. So far he is not in the Classic.

    But I think there are one or two tournaments to go.

    So who knows?

    The season is over for KVD.  The top 50 in AOY points have one more tournament, KVD finished at 53, so he is done until next spring.

    I took too stubborn of approach this year and relied too much on past experiences.

     

    Hmmm....that never happens to anyone here, lol.

    Just shows you can't get to comfortable. Always have to step out into new styles, baits and areas. Fishing history/memories can only work do long....

    I have one of is books autographed while he was in Richmond many years ago and will bring the other one with me.

     

    He is one of the nicest people in the world and you will enjoy meeting and having your picture taken with him.

    Yep, he was at the Oakley Big Bass Tour at Table Rock a few years ago while my wife and I were staying at Big Cedar where they were doing the hourly weigh ins at. I wasn't even fishing in it, and KVD was pretty busy, but he still took the time to talk to me, take a picture with my wife and I, and gave me an Oakley hat and signed it for me. Talked to me like we were old fishing buddies for a couple minutes before I left him alone so he could get back to what he was doing and so I could go fishing :)
