Beautiful bass, I cant even begin to imagine that the world record 22lb fish would look like!!!!

And that's just *another* 10+ pounder to her credit!!

I would not want to compete against her...glad I don't fish tourneys.

You talk about a good angler!!!

See, 16lb line buddy!  Hahah, yeah, there are some hogs there!  talk to Fanatic more (from your Flouro thread), I have fished with him out of his boat there at Toledo Bend, he knows that place very well!!

Good luck and Bust 'em up!

Truly a fish of a life time.

Right place - Right Time.

Congrats to her.

Great accomplishment. I wondered why they had to vent a fish taken from 15 fow. I know they tried their best to revive her.

might move to texas

That fish looks even bigger than nearly 15, also caught on a senko knock- off?

Awesome fish but too bad it died. A fish that size was probably up there in year's anyway though. Her genes are already swimming around for the next monster! An awesome catch either way!

Nice tanker! She will rub that in his face lol.

Sucks that such a bass died. Amazing fish though.

It really doesn't bother me a whole lot that the bass died, she was probably on her last legs anyways...

That would be amazing and would beat the state record here by more then a pound with it at like 13.23# i think. To bad that is like almost every day for someone like Butch Brown or every week for sure.He has something silly like 130+ fish over 10# so far this year. That's just so sick. His fish would literally be able to eat my fish.

People think there is a air bladder problem because the bass rolls over when it's stress problem and only add to the stress by needling the fish.

Some of these giant bass can't take being handled, photographed put in a livewell with warm surface water and transported and handled some more.

They tried their best to revive this fish and feel bad that she died.

Nice bass.

why do you assume that?
  • Super User

why do you assume that?

Because a 15lb bass is an old bass. At least that's what I assume, Ive seen in a few places that bass put on about a pound a year on average with a good food supply...

that fish was caught in the summer at 15lb

it doesnt look overly fat so it'd have put on more weight going into winter

its ashame a fish this big didnt make it

look at the size of its head

this is a big fish at 26"

now imagine perry's fish back in the day at 32 certified inches long.. THAT WAS A HUMONGOUS FISH!
