Towards the end of summer, a black cavitron buzz bait was getting a lot of bites but that has turned off since the transition to fall. Also, the pond I fish has a lot of leaves on the water now and very little current so most top water lures are out of play. Recommend for Nightime fall fishing? I've yet to have luck in this pond with crankbaits, chatterbaits or spinnerbaits but I know these are supposed to be classic fall baits. Senkos are usually pretty productive during the day there but the dark adds a special challenge for line watching. Planning to get a headlamp soon to help with that. Thanks for any tips!
