I just picked up (about 4 months ago) a new Epson WorkForce WF-3620. Just an incredible machine. And yes, I have it wireless to my router. You can't imagine how fast it prints and copies. Envelopes too. It takes a larger supply of paper (almost a whole ream), so you can forget about running out all the time the way the cheaper printers do. The machine is a little on the large size, but it fits well on my desk here with no problems. I think it's pretty compact, considering all it can do.

The one drawback was inadequate set-up instructions. I must be getting old! LOL! Anyway, I called their "Help Line" and they set me up in minutes with no problem. Also, you MUST set it up wirelessly.....unless you have a spare USB cable kicking around....one isn't supplied in the box. But I see no reason not to set it up wireless. Less is better! :-)

I got this machine on Amazon.com for around $125.00. This is a LOT more than any other printer I have ever bought before, but those "el cheapos" (+ / - $50.00) only last about 2 years anyway and I got sick of replacing them all the time. They seem to always break down when you NEED it most! Add to that that they are usually slow and use up a ton of ink cartridges.

I also bought a bunch of "re-manufactured" ink cartridges (recommended by Amazon as well) for back-up. Can't remember the price, but it was a LOT cheaper than new ones. However, I've been using this machine for a full 4 months now and haven't had to replace a cartridge yet! It has some kind of "ink saving" device built in. I haven't printed out a lot of pictures yet; maybe only about a dozen, so this may be why the ink is lasting me so long. I do a lot of monthly budget work and printing though, so I'm perfectly satisfied. Oh....and you can set it up for faxing too. I haven't done that, but if that's your thing, this printer will do it as well. Actually, there isn't much this printer won't do! I love it.

Good Deal.

My printer croaked a few months back and I purchased the same machine from the same vendor.

Could be more satisfied either.

Wireless printers are great. I set my Father-in-law up with one last year. The most entertaining feature of these is having multiple wireless devices set up on his wifi (cell phones/tablets/etc) and printing random photos from all over the house to his office.

I have an older model that is similar to yours at work and when it comes to ink and quality, it is a great bang for the buck. I have over 50,000 prints on mine.
