Is it true that the pre-rap storm thin fins are supposed to have a rattle in them? I ask because i believe i may have been scammed on a recent purchas

if i hold the hooks and shake them i do not hear any bbs inside

I dont think the very old   Thin Fins from the 70's rattled .

There are two different Thin Fins. One with rattles and the other without.

I've got many Thin Fins, both in shad and minnow models, still sealed in the boxes from the factory in Tulsa. (Pre VMC) They made them in sinking and floating models. I could be wrong, but I've never seen one with rattles that came from that factory.

None of my old ones rattle. 

I see these lures all the time but I never got to cast one out.

 

How do you fish these lures and what species do you target?

Just went through some old one's of mine this weekend. I had both versions.
