Today's Frankenbait

Featured Replies

I just had a vision.....

Havent put this together, but the image just swam into my head, of a twin-armed spinnerbait, with a large swimming plastic trailer, and the two blades removed and replaced with two smaller (2-3") swimming plastics.

Sort of poor man's, backyard, mini A-rig.

Hmmmm...

It would be interesting... I don't know if it would work in clear water or dirty water... Thump or sight... Hmmm. Because there is no flash...

The old v twin spins ? I think you have a good idea. Bet it would work great. I might beat you to it , if I could just find an old v twin spin .

A local guy makes spinnerbait "blades" out of Zman Elastech material that he melts down into a custom made mold. Ends up with a much softer thump and much less flash. No idea if they work as I've never fished them but an interesting concept never the less.
