anyone know when the zx rods,etc will go off sale? i notice the 5dollar shipping coupin ends tonite so just wondering if this fishing sale ends as well

I'm not sure but most sales at retail stores start over on Sunday. Not that this one will but a lot of them are that way.

I have no idea when that sale price will expire.

This is why I order from Tackle Warehouse whenever humanly possible. I gave them one chance. You had one job, Cabela's!

i guess it is their price strategy. most times the same deals will be back unless sold out.

I have one Lews Tournament pro reel and just bought another one brand new from Ebay for only $148.00 shipped. 

Yep, I was going back for another Pflueger Supreme this morning, after I checked the price last night at 59.99.  This morning..............79.99.    Still a good deal....but dang, I was hoping for 59.99.  Oh well, holding off for now. 

They raised the prices on a bunch of sale stuff last night.

Patience.  It'll go on sale again soon.  What I do now is put stuff I want in my "wish list" on their website.  I check my wish list every night or every other night and when what I want goes on sale I buy it right then.  I don't have to pull up all the products to check their price this way, just check my list of stuff I want.

 

I'm down to one spinning reel and a float tube in my wish list now.

I did that with the ZX rods. They sat there laughing at me for months at their regular price before I grabbed them on sale. I do wish they had some sort of email alert system that would let you know when items in your wish list go on sale.

The MGX is a good deal at $79.99 but when it hit $59.99 I jumped on it because that price isn't going to hang too long. The thing I dislike about Cabelas sales is they very seldom have an entire inventory sale, most of it is discontinued items and the MGX is a good example of that. I will say this in defense of Cabela's discontinued items sale, most of the time they blow the prices out, I got a bunch of Sebile Cranksters for $4.88, Xcalibur square bills for $2.88, Daiwa Tierra spinning for $40 in the form of a discontinued Tournament ZX and now a Pflueger Supreme MGX for $60, those are good sales in my book.

I caught my ZX on sale with a $5 shipping code. It did cost an extra $40 to ship for the rods but that's still cheaper than driving round trip to my nearest Cabela's 4 hours away. What bugged me and that I need to call about is that they shipped all 5 rods in the same tube they ship 1 in. So I don't know why they billed that out differently. They did that before and I called and they refunded me all but $8 which is fine.

if they had free shipping id buy from them all the time. id like one of the tackle bags but im sure itll cost an extra 12-20 bucks to ship the thing

They run free shipping from time to time. There shouldn't be any addition charge for the tackle bag even if it was the extra super large magnum size. Genrally, the additional shipping is for rods, deer stands, batteries, and stuff like that. Awkward, heavy, and huge items.

I got 10 brand new .50 caliber ammo boxes from them last year on a free shipping code and it got here free. Just tax.

Thanks for the ad! Doesn't seem like theres many deals outside the ZX Tourny rods. Really they are just trying to advertise that they are getting spring clothing and camping gear in.
