I am wanting a swimbait to fish in strong current (tailrace). I have had some luck with shadalicious on a 1/2" open jighead.

What are some other baits that will work in strong current?

    Mister twister Sassy Shad has been hammering bass in current for decades .

    Bull Shad if you are talking about hard swimbaits.

    The cheap Storm Wildeye shads are money in the fast outlet of the power plant lake here. Bass, wipers, and white bass all eat them.
