Yo Zuri Vs Flurocarbon

Featured Replies

Yo Zuri, being a co poly, does it have less sensitivity than Red Label Flurocarbon? How is the feel using T rigs and Jigs in 8-15ft water?

Just in time, GT!  Thanks.  I was worried there weren't going to be enough threads about fluoro vs xxxxxx this week.

I'm sorry if I'm coming off as a jerk....but please just give it a try if you want.  Or, don't.  It isn't expensive and only you can tell if you prefer the sensitivity to what you're using today.

Having used both, they feel similar in the water and cast about the same.  Red Label disappears better and last longer but also has more stretch than Hybrid.  Truthfully, I like both lines.  Red Label might just be slightly better based on how long it lasts.

I can't speak for Red Label, but I can say that I can certainly feel much more with my Sunline Sniper FC while cranking than I can with YZ Hybrid.

It's stretchy and clear so yes. Save the money and go YZH.

I have never found a flouro that casts as well as Yo copolymer.  I haven't tried them all, of course, but I've tried quite a few that purport to be soft casting flouros.  And they do not handle as well as Yo.
