I have fished the ned once and caught a whole lot of fish on it, but I lost so many ned rig jigs it was not worth it. So I heard ZMan is coming out with a weedless Ned rig head. I don't think there is any weedless mushroom head on the market is there?

You lose your rigs in the weeds?

I make my own mushroom heads with a wire weedguard but you can get small heads with weedguards if you look around crappie tackle long enough.

Use a BPS hook guard if you want to go weedless.

There are weedless weighted heads out there.

Fishing the Ned Rig in weeds is counter to the base theory behind it. For me there are better choices in those spots. I'm a believer in the effectiveness of the rig but not drinking the tackle factory cool aid. (yet. lol)
