I have a bit of money left over on my gift card and am thinking of picking up another walk the dog bait. I was wondering what everyone's favorites were? Spook? Sammy? Megabass?

Are you fishing the bigger size or smaller one? I have some of both but the smaller one doesn't want to talk very well. Thinking I might take the dressed treble off the back and see if that helps. The big ones walk nice, haven't gotten on a good bite with them yet though.

I just got the bigger one. It made me want to try the smaller one though. I find the smaller style walk the dogs a little more difficult in general though.

I've heard good things about the Rover. Personally I like the Savage Gear Top Prey 100 but I'm pretty sure they are discontinued

Any of the Mirrolure walkers work fine, and they're built like tanks.

Do you have any "one knocker" style ones?? Different sounds are key for me while fishing those style baits. White, clear or chrome are good colors to use.

I like MS MJ Herring, Aurora Black, Ghost Minnow, Chartreuse Shad and American Shad, just to name a few.  Pick the color you like the best and go for it, they all work great.  Yes, it is a walking bait, fish it like a spook.

Aurora black and chartreuse shad are some of lucky crafts best colors.  Buddy of mine has had the paint eaten off his aurora black gunfish.

i just ordered a gunfish off ebay in frog color. looked pretty cool. think ill pick up a 95 size off TW during the sale. cant wait to try these!

I've had pretty good luck with the super spook jr lately like blue mentioned but my clear one has got more fish then the bone color.

I like all the ones I've tried. Gunfish, Sammy, spook jr Zara puppy, s rover but for 5-6 bucks the academy knock offs are hard to beat.
