Nba Finals

While my sixers are a looooooooong way from being in the NBA finals, I think this finals is going to be a great one.  LeBron has willed his team to the finals and is playing at an incredible pace and they will face off against an up and coming team that is more new-school in style but limited experience.

I think the cavs will win but every game will be close and i wouldn't be surprised one bit if it goes 7 games.

Give me a break, the dude played his guts out and took a team to the finals that has no business being there.  That team is severely overmatched but they made it a close game and could have won.  And

  • That would be "Deli", Dwight.   Mike & Mike inside joke...

i still think Deli looks like he belongs on a lucky charms box or in a church league basketball game, not the NBA finals but i think GS would say otherwise lol

It is gonna be awesome. I think it's going to go 7, with the Cavs taking it all.  Warriors don't have anyone to contain LeBron, not like there is anyone in the league that can, but he's gonna have a huge series.

Steph Curry will make things interesting but LeBron is in his prime.  He will dominate, Cavs in six......

This might be one of the best finals the NBA has put on in years.  I am not a fan of James but you can't deny the talent and his ability to lead a team.  GS is just fun to watch, an overall great team.

This is a classic series where there is a team with an obvious superstar and another team that while it has the reigning MVP, they aren't star studded or playoff tested really.  Styles make for good series and i think this one will fit the bill.  If the cavs win this one, I think that it should silence a lot of critics about lebron and his lack of killer instinct.  In this playoff run he has carried this team further than just about anyone would have thought.

GS in 5  No one can beat them at home.

GS wins & hands James a full box of tissues to help with explaining why he sucks..(JMO)

Cavaliers in 6. The Cavs depth will be a large factor especially at SG and C. People have this perception that GS hits every three they take and the Cavs the complete opposite. J.R Smith and Iman Shumpert have a large task at hand handling Klay Thonpson. Kyrie Irving has improved vastly on defense this year I don't see Steph Curry completely lighting up the Cavs. GS will have a lot of trouble handling Lebron, I think they will put Draymond Green on Lebron. If not then Lebron will dominate Harrison Barnes for much of the series. Lebron needs to get back on a shooting streak, he is averaging 17% in these playoffs from three. That's gotta change.

I'm picking the Cavs in 7 games. Cleveland needs a winner.

Welp... I was a huge Golden State fan when

in college - Chris Mullin was my boy!

But I like the narrative of the Cavaliers. I think

both cities deserve to win. It could really be

a toss up. Weapons on Golden State are

some of the best we've seen in a long time.

LeBron is ... LeBron. He's a freak show of

amazing talent at any position he plays.

I could really flip a coin, but I'll go out on a

limb and say I think GS will take it if Kyrie

is a shadow of himself. If Kyrie is all guns

blazing, Cavs will be tough to beat.

How's that for non-committal?

Just curious but why does Lebron suck?

He doesn't but I knew you would probably ask, lol

This is going to be a great series. From what I've heard, Irving will be far from 100%. So look for Lebron to be on point duty almost exclusively. Glad to see Klay Thompson will be good for game 1, as I'm rooting for GS. I think this will go to at least 6, and like every game Lebron James plays, the deciding factor will be whether or not he can be contained. The runner up for DPOY Draymond Green will be guarding him, and I'm sure Barnes and Thompson will split some minutes defending him as well. I cant wait for tip-off.

If you have been watching it has been a very good game. No superiority, just two evenly matched teams at halftime.

Agreed. Kyrie is looking good, despite fouls.

Teams seem well matched against each other.

I continue my noncommittal approach. I like

both teams!!

LeBron James is a GREAT basketball player!!!! He is also the biggest 6'9" 260lb cry baby I have ever seen in my life. Holy cow. He gets away with backing guys down with his elbow but if he gets touched he gets that lil pouty face and wants a foul.

Maybe you misunderstood. He is a GREAT basketball player. He is also HUGE crybaby.

And he scored 2 in OT on an uncontested layup. He doesn't have the killer instinct it takes. He will never be MJ or Kobe.

My feeling as well, yes he's very good but not even close to the caliber MJ was as player & team leader..

The Cavs were over-matched when the series started.  If Kyrie is out, they're done.  LeBron is great but he can't do it by himself.
