Featured Replies

I caught this little guy in a local pond (Breckenridge Park, Richardson, TX) I have never come across anything like this and was wondering if anyone had some insight.

So do you have a pic or more explanation?

Post a pic please

THIS THREAD IS ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS WITHOUT PICS.

Insight? When I was growing up, I watched a movie called the invisible man, it sucked. About as bad as this thread..

With one post he may not yet know how to post pics.

Chaz~,

If it is a rash type looking disease on the skin it could be from a bacteria brought about from handling if some of the fish have been caught and released.  If it is a injury looking cut or puncture it is often caused by herons or racoons which are one step up in the food chain.

I think this fish is suffering from largemouth vanishing disease (LVD).
